We live on 15 acres, and have a 2 acre fenced area that our dogs have to run and play in.We have 2 ponds, so our Newfs are often found splashing about in the summer...in the winter too if they can manage!!!!!
As Newfoundland breeders, we are avid Newfie lovers and every so often have "foster" Newfs until we can find them a home.
We are a small family Newfoundland breeder striving to produce happy, healthy, puppies. We work closely with our vet, and he is an integral part of our breeding program. We have each male and female checked before they are bred. Our vet does a CBC (a complete blood workup) and checks for liver, thyroid and kidney function. He also does a parasite check and a thorough physical exam. After all, a healthy puppy ALWAYS starts with healthy parents!
We choose our dogs based on temperment, size, and bone structure. When we purchase a pup and it develops into an adult that does not fit into our long term goals for our breeding plan we spay/neuter it and keep it as a family pet, or we find a family who can provide it with a loving, permanent home.
Our long term goal is to be Newfoundland breeders known for producing beautiful Newfs with the sterling temperment the breed is known for, and the great size and bone structure needed to carry on the work the Newf has done for centuries.
Feel free to browse our site. We are striving to be one of the best Newfoundland breeder sites on the web. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions PLEASE let us know!
